Once again our intrepid hosts are forced to being an episode by paying tribute to another great lost force in the genre, Art Weingertner himself, the awesome Rick Ducommun. Further along in this trip, Lono reveals his classy invitation to help beta test AMC’s streaming horror service, SHUDDER! Ian forces Lono to borrow a werewolf film starring Mario Van Peebles! With his music choice this week, Ian opens many Doors while bringing out early-mid 90’s band impressions from Lono! We actually have a slew of horror news (and Ian explains exactly what a “slew” entails)! Our director spotlight this week is the inimitable Brian Yuzna (and Lono brings a lot of love to frequent Yuzna collaborator, and too often overlooked artist, Screaming Mad George!). Lono then kicks off our summer horror trailers with a great Corman classic. Our heroes try our best to sidestep racism while re-cast Big Trouble in Little China! What would Alan Moore sound like when singing “Aqualung” at karaoke? Find out here! Lono unleashes Unknown Hinson on the listeners, and at LONG LAST has a pretty damned good pitch to Ian, with many twists, turns,and a great Rob Zombie tune no one knows!
